If you are in need of several complex procedures, IV sedation may be the right choice to help you achieve genuine relaxation throughout your care with us. Dr. Ghobadi will administer the medication intravenously and adjust the dosage as needed. IV sedation is not only quick, but powerful, plus it gives Dr. Ghobadi the ability to adjust a patient’s sedation level in real time throughout a procedure, ensuring they remain comfortable every single moment.

Implant Surgery

Dental implants are designed to be placed directly into the jawbone to recreate the root of a lost tooth. This allows them to fuse with your natural tissue and create a lasting foundation for eventual restoration. They are the only treatment that replaces an entire tooth, creating a result that is the next best thing to nature. Unlike other offices in the area, we’re able to provide the surgical placement of implants so you can get everything you need in the same convenient location.

Bone Grafting

Bone grafting can be used to replace and even grow bone in potential dental implant sites or extraction sites. Our team may also recommend this procedure to treat defects in the jaw. Dr. Ghobadi will place a portion of a patient’s own bone, donated bone, or a lab-made grafting material onto the jaw, and this will encourage the development of new bone in the area. After a few weeks of healing, a patient will be prepared for whatever procedure they might need.

TMJ Therapy

The TMJ (temporomandibular joint) is the small set of hinges that enables your lower jaw to move fluidly in all directions. Like other joints in the body, it can sometimes fall victim to stress, strain, or injury. This can lead to pain and stiffness in the jaw, chronic headaches, and even soreness in the neck and shoulders. Fortunately, our team is able to diagnose and treat these issues in-house using a number of proven therapies.

As part of every routine checkup, our team performs an oral cancer screening so we can find the disease as early as possible. If a patient has a suspicious growth or sore in or around their mouth, we can take a biopsy of it to figure out whether it is cancerous or not. This will ensure that a patient is able to get the treatment they need as soon as possible, giving them the best chance of overcoming the disease.

Gum Grafting

Gum recession, in which the gums actually pull away from the teeth, is a very common symptom of gum disease. This can make the teeth appear abnormally long and also leave them vulnerable to decay. In the past, the only way to correct this was with a painful gum graft, but thankfully, our team now has a much better option. With the Chao Pinhole Technique, we can use a tiny hole placed into the gums to gently stretch the tissue back into its original position. This approach is faster and more comfortable than a traditional gum graft, and recovery times are much shorter as well.
